Join Heidi for our new Yoga for Runners: Run-Yoga session! Heidi will guide you along a run and through a yoga practice that focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility, perfectly complimenting endurance training.
Get ready for a fresh new take on Yoga for Runners with our new "Run-Yoga" platform with Runa Yoga. Our "Yoga for Runners: Run-Yoga" sessions start off with an easy/moderate paced 25 min group run followed by a condensed 25 min yoga session.
Our 8 week summer session will be held in Leif Erickson Park and kicks off on July 6th. Duluth Running Co. will be the backup yoga location in the event of rain.
Heidi, from Runa Yoga will guide you along the run and through our yoga sessions during this eight week journey.
"Yoga for Runners: Run-Yoga" is a great way for runners, triathletes, and other endurance athletes to gain flexibility, balance, and core strength. The movements in each class help to release tightness in common problem areas for runners.
"Yoga for Runners: Run-Yoga" is also perfect for everyone from yoga newbies to more experienced yogis. Run Yoga instructors provide multiple modified options for each pose, allowing participants to push themselves to the degree they feel comfortable pursuing. Classes become progressively more challenging.
During the runs, the main group will keep an easy/moderate pace. You are welcome to go faster, slower, or even walk the run portion. Because the run section is based on time we will all get back to our mats at the same time to start the yoga session.
Parking is available at the Rose Garden and along London Road.
