WARNING: The PPIHC is a dangerous race and all spectators must attend at their own risk. Spectator viewing areas do not insure safety.

I expressly assume all risks before, during, or after the event including, but not limited to, injury from objects thrown from spectator areas, injury from racetrack accidents involving vehicles of any type or parts of race track vehicles or injury from fires, and agree for yourself and your heirs, representatives, beneficiaries and assigns that the Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb Educational Museum, its subsidiaries, affiliates, event participants, sponsors, sanctioning bodies, and any of their employees, agents, officers, and directors are hereby released from any and all claims arising from the event.

I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF ATTENDING ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS EVENT, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released.

Releasees include, but are not limited to, Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb Educational Museum, its subsidiaries, affiliates, event participants, sponsors, sanctioning bodies, and any of their employees, agents, officers, volunteers, directors, and others affiliated with the event.

All media and intellectual property rights are wholly reserved in perpetuity to The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and its licensees. Any unauthorized use or sale of footage from the PPIHC Website, the PPIHC Event (or ancillary events), including but not limited to the making of or inclusion into a broadcast, internet, web, motion picture and/or DVD or tape program is prohibited. The licensing or sub-licensing of clips or footage from the event shall be strictly forbidden without the express written consent from the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Any material contained on this website, as well as the event and ancillary events, may not be recorded, photographed, reproduced or retransmitted for any commercial purpose without the written consent of the PPIHC. All spectators or attendees without a media credentials, are required to give the PPIHC any photos and/or footage captured from the event upon request.
The PPIHC has the sole and exclusive rights to all footage and photos taken by spectators and/or those without media credentials. All photos and footage are part of the PPIHC’s intellectual property and can be used for promotional purposes and/or sale and/or distribution. All media is for the PPIHC’s non-exclusive, perpetual and worldwide usage.

General Admission ticket prices vary based on the total number of attendees in a vehicle. There must be a functioning seat belt for every attendee accompanied with the vehicle. Tickets purchased before Race Day (June 26, 2016) and online are discounted $10 apiece from their Race Day prices.

Camping check-in is on June 25th @ 12pm

Will Call tickets can be picked up at the Pikes Peak - America’s Mountain Gateway on Saturday June 25th from Noon - 6:00pm and on Sunday June 26th from 3:00 am – 10:00 am. You will not need to physically pick up any purchased tickets prior to Race Day. Please bring your ID on Race Day and the Gateway workers will have you in our system.

SPECTATOR VIEWING FOR THE 2016 EVENT

2016 Spectator Course Rules
(Subject to change)

•Spectators will only be allowed to view the race from designated spectator viewing areas along the course: Devil’s Playground, Cove Creek, Glen Cove, Ski Area, Halfway Picnic Grounds, 9 Mile, and the Start Line area. Spectators found outside of these areas are subject to trespassing tickets.

•No spectator parking will be allowed anywhere along the course except in seven designated parking areas: Devil’s Playground, Cove Creek, Glen Cove, Ski Area, Halfway Picnic Grounds,9 Mile, and the Start Line area. Any vehicles parked outside of these designated areas without a PPIHC parking pass are subject to being towed at the owners expense.

•PPIHC may limit the number of cars allowed above the Start Line to 1,300 to make sure the vehicles will be able to fit in the designated areas. If you want to view the race above the Start Line, it is recommended to arrive early as this will be first come, first serve.

•Within the spectator viewing areas, all spectators must stay as far back from the race course as possible.

•Any orange fencing in a spectator viewing area dictates a high danger area. Do not stand behind orange fencing under any circumstance.

•All spectators must stay behind any chain linked fence (or otherwise marked areas) that they see in the designated viewing areas. Chain linked fence does not insure it is a safe area but it is not a restricted area.

•The PPIHC is a dangerous race and all spectators must attend at their own risk. Spectator viewing areas do not insure safety.

•Do not stand or sit where a vehicle might strike you and stay off of hay bales.

•Each spectator viewing area will have specific restrictions and limitations on where spectators can and cannot view the race from. Maps of each area can be found on http://www.ppihc.com/spectator-guide/.

•Each spectator is expected to obey requests from PPIHC Course Marshalls, Crowd Control Staff, Race Officials, Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain Rangers, and Staff and Law Enforcement. Any spectator who ignores requests will be subject to expulsion or criminal charges. If you are in doubt about whether you are safe or not please contact a course official for a safe viewing area.

•Everyone in spectator viewing areas are encouraged to have some sort of barrier protection if possible (Rocks, Trees, and Vehicles etc.). Chain link fencing does not qualify as a barrier protection. For those who cannot find barrier protection, it is recommended to enjoy the race from higher ground in order to elevate yourself from the race course.

•Off-road vehicles — It is illegal to operate any motorcycle, ATV, bicycle or off-road vehicle on the Pikes Peak Highway or surrounding area. Drivers or riders who violate this policy will have their vehicles impounded.

•Pets — No pets are allowed.

•All Spectators are required to read the "Spectator Guide" and "FAQs".
