The Loppet Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that engages people of all ages and backgrounds in our year-round outdoor activities. We started in 2002 with an 800-person ski race; three months later we launched our first youth program, Get Outside!

Since then we have engaged more than 100,000 people across our four areas: Events, Adventures, Stewardship, and Competitive Training. We have taught more than 8,200 youth, mostly from North Minneapolis, to ski, bike, paddle, and appreciate nature through Loppet programs.

By participating in our events, you are supporting the youth in our programs and our stewardship efforts. Thank you for helping to advance our work. Please visit loppet.org to learn more.
